Established in Australia in 1997, Summit Fleet Leasing and Management is a part of Summit Investments (Australia) Pty Ltd, who is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sumitomo Corporation of Japan, one of the largest integrated trading companies and a diverse global organisation with operations in over 90 countries. Sumitomo’s, diverse international and Australian interests includes manufacturing, engineering, mining, media, electronics, real estate, retailing, logistics, chemicals, fertilizers, food and beverages, materials handling and the automotive industry.

The recognition of the increasing demand by organisations, both large and small, to outsource the management, finance and risk of motor vehicle ownership saw the formation of Summit Fleet Leasing and Management in January 1997.

Summit also brings to the market an experienced and established management team with a combination of both fleet lease and fleet management backgrounds that represent over fifty years in the industry.
